I am a fully qualified corporate solicitor. I trained at a major regional firm, Trethowans LLP, spent 9 months cutting my teeth in corporate finance with Meridian Corporate Finance LLP and finally qualified into Trethowans’ corporate legal team. I then spent two years working in private practice before making the move in-house as legal counsel for the AA Group for whom I led a number of acquisitions and disposals, advised on commercial agreements, advertising disputes and brand management*.
I read law at Exeter University and undertook my postrgad at Bristol Institute of Legal Practice.
Whilst no longer a practicing solicitor, I still undertake various pro bono projects for charities and not-for-profit organisations and am always interested in lending my knowledge and experience to companies, boards and individuals.
