Gosh what a ride! After two month’s of intense campaigning, some rather silly videos, a public vote, ten day fundraising challenge and televised final- I can announce that I have been offered the Nicest Job in Britain!
Thank you bucketloads to everyone that supported me in this campaign from sharing, voting , liking, sending in selfies and taking the daily plastering of your Facebook and Twitter feeds in such good spirits!
It was very literally a campaign of blood, sweat a
nd tears in the end – after a blistering 5k crawl through Bristol in the final week to raise funds for the RSPCA and the best phone call could have ever hoped to receive which left my old colleagues in the open plan office wondering quite what had made one of their lawyers bawl with happiness!
I met some truly inspirational people from all walks of life at the final all doing some amazing things for the causes they believe in. Winning this competition means everything to me and I am so excited to begin my biggest and best challenge yet and to do you all proud.
